The Star Wars Holiday Special plot follows Han Solo and Chewbacca as they try to get Chewbacca home to his family on Kashyyyk for the Wookiee holiday, Life Day, but they are delayed by an Imperial blockade. While Chewbacca's family, including his wife Malla, son Lumpy, and father Itchy, waits for him, they are harried by the Empire and watch various entertainment segments. These segments include musical performances, bizarre sketches, and an animated story that introduces Boba Fett. This whole thing was out of George Lucas' hands and he has not one nice thing to say about it. Original cast + special guests galore. Original commercials included.
